Yesterday, I got partway through my day, and I just could not think straight.
Everything looked like a problem.
I felt emotional for no apparent reason.
We’re in the middle of this move right now and there’s a lot going on. A lot of moving pieces / channels open my brain.
And so I did what I’ve really learned to do from my mentor Gigi Sage.
I quit.
I crawled in bed, turned on a Netflix show, and snuggled with my puppy. I didn’t try to think or figure anything out.
There’s a Einstein quote that says, “You can’t solve a problem from the same level of thinking that created it.”
When you’re in a certain level of thinking, everything looks like a problem. But if you give that time to settle and move through you, and you don’t resist it, something shifts.
By morning today, I felt great.
So I wanted to share this tip with you too…
When nothing feels like it’s working, just quit.

Makena
