I entered university in 2008 during the last big recession. Everything was uncertain. And yet, I invested in a $180K 4-year education, because that’s what society told me I needed to do to have a “stable” and successful career.
But I never landed my dream job…
Instead, I took the path less traveled, and launched my first business 6 months after graduation.
It felt scary. It felt like a huge risk.
Little did I know I was actually taking the LESS risky path. Because over the next 10 years, I would learn a set of skills that would set me up for a lifetime of prosperity.
No matter what the economy is doing. No matter whether things are up or down or right or left. I know I will be okay. (Even better than okay!)
This is the gift that entrepreneurship has given me.
